So, I heard from my contact. I’m going to the race tonight to film hopefully.  Something happened with her phone and she lost all her contacts and stuff I think so I had to call the Economic Developer of the county to get the Track Manager’s number to give to her. So I’ll leave around 3:30 to go up there I guess… I need to go shave my legs lol

My aunt came over this morning, the only one that I actually like, and I was telling her about Daytona and how Larry McReynolds hit my golf kart with his #28 Havoline scooter and how I almost hit Richard Petty on his golf kart with mine. She was cracking up. I’m also in love with Chris Daughtry’s album!

I have the worse luck ever. Seriously. People tell me I have good luck a lot and they’re really just full of shit. So I went to digitize the stuff from yesterday and we didn’t record my interview with Mark McFarland…. both Taylor and I were so fucking pissed because he’s the biggest name in the race really, having drove for Dale, Jr. in the Busch series. I think I did okay on the Law test today. I went in an hour early to study some and I think I did okay… we’ll see Monday. (more…)

I’m so screwed.

I didn’t study enough for this media law test… I’m so screwed.

Ok, going to go shower and head over to school to fail and edit some on this racing footage and then come home. I’m so skipping work tonight.

 God, I’m gonna fail… a test about obscenity and porn of all things!

I’ve always pictured myself as the person behind the camera because let’s face it… I’m not the prettiest person in the world, but today… I found myself being the person in front of the camera, the one interviewing, talking to drivers and track owners. I was like Steve Burns.

Okay so, I wasn’t as good, and I kind of studdard talking to Mark McFarland, but still, I did it and apprently I did a good job. Taylor, a guy in my class, and I went up to South Georgia Motorsports Park for Media Day for the 2nd race in the South East Division of the Hooter’s Pro Cup Series and honestly, we felt like the most important people there… they were so nice to us, treating us like real media and not just stupid college kids who don’t know what they’re doing. It’s been a long day.. which ended with me listening to a song by Chris Daughtry over and over. “Over You” is on his debut album with his band, but hell, it’s Chris, who is he kidding? I didn’t realize what today was until I wrote the date at the top of my page of notes in Media Law today… March 28th. Typically, this is a very bad day for me. I’ll just mope around, sad, depressed, wallowing in my own self pitty. Why? Something happened to me on this date that pretty much changed my life. It changed the way I view people, specifically guys, ruined my trust system, made me question every person in my life, yadda yadda yadda. It dealt with the asshole and what happens this year?

I am so tired I’m about to fall over. I didn’t get home until about 10:45… then I had to do homework and I still have a 2 page summary to write before tomorrow night for extra points in Biology. I’m not going to work in the morning. I’ve worked extra hours the past two days… I’m sleeping late in the morning.

Today has been a horrible day. Well it hasn’t been THAT bad but, it’s just blah. I have no energy. The brakes on my Mom’s car went out yesterday and she almost wrecked so she had to take her car to get fixed this morning. That meant I had to get up at the crack ass of dawn and take her to Lake Park to babysit. So I did that and at 9:30 this morning, Danielle and I went to interview a lady at the library for the news tomorrow for a package and that lasted until 15 minutes before 11 and I have class then so I went to class. My teacher, who is also my advisor, gave me my graduation application and all I need to do now is pay the $25 and turn it into the registar’s office.  So I ask him if I could miss Thursday (talk about later) to go to Media Day at the track and he said yes… so I run by Krystal’s to get some food and I go to the Union to go upstairs to the office until it was time for work and my work was closed, so I opened it up a hour early and I’ve been at work since but I’m so sleepy.
