So one of my problems after high school is the fact that the friends that I had grown up with were all gone. I made out that I wanted to be away from all of them but I really didn’t. 50% of the people I graduated high school with, I had known since kindergarden. I think that was part of my problems… I was going through this big transition and went through a lot of problems. Going back to a real college with people around my age (but just a tad bit younger) helped me a lot. I came out of my shell more, I became more outgoing. I got more involved with things than I did in high school and what happens?

So today has been okay (so far). I went and got a new tire this morning and came to work at noon… my and Adam’s “baby”, the tab for the baseball coach, is getting rave reviews apparently. So I came down to work and Shannon came over and hung out for a while and we gossiped about NASCAR and talked kitty kats and how we’re both gonna be old cat women (especially me, ek). Then I went upstairs and Adam tutored me on the radio station because I’m hoping to have my own show on there either this summer or at least in the fall… I want it to be a pop/country show or whatever someone emails in and request that I have. I think everybody may be able to listen online, I’m not sure yet though. (more…)

This week has not started off all that well. On top of my accident yesterday… I found out wires were coming out of my two front tires so I needed two new ones… so I had to do that today, which totally ruined any chance of me going and filming voice over footage for a reader for the news tomorrow.

Well, last night a guy sent me a message on facebook thinking he had met me at a bar here last weekend. Pick up line or not, we started talking and for some strange, brave reason, I told him I worked in the game room and to come on over, so he did… and we talked, but yet the freakin’ newspaper advisor kept interrupting us and well shortly after he left for a study group before class… well I thought it went okay… (more…)

So who got in a wreck this morning? *raises hands* Well it wasn’t a big wreck but if I didn’t have some of my mad crazy driving skills… I could have been really hurt. So there I am, driving down the highway which is four lanes with grass in the middle of the two… and I’m heading to work this morning. I was actually early for a change and I’m already pissed because of what they say about Tony on Sirius Speedway and all of a sudden, this damn white fan that is practically beside me starts pulling over in my lane and pushes me into the grass, so if I kept going I would have flipped and landed in the other two lanes, being hit by cars and semis… probably dying…. but no… the NASCAR girl came out in me. So I’m at work and it’s 7:49pm… I’m making notecards for my test tomorrow and all I really want to do is go to sleep… but I saw him and that’s all that matters. I have an issue telling people no… it’s a bad problem I’ve always had but I don’t really want to tell him no… I want to say yes. *sigh* I have issues, big issues. Why do guys sucks? Well not all guys obviously but the ones who are suppose to be “men”. Do they not understand that sometimes a girl has more things to do than them? (more…)

Behind these blue eyes lies the eyes of someone who is very freakin’ tired. I mean seriously… tired. I was up at 7am this morning and was at school by 9am and helped set up 4 cameras, run wires and chords all over the softball field and then directed one game of softball and two innings of another game (it was a double header). Then took everything done and took it back to school and unpacked everything. It went pretty good… I had fun and it was a really good experience. I’m hoping to do some football games in the fall.

Other than that, I’m so fucking tired. I have to work from 3 to 10 tomorrow and then study for my last chapter quiz test in Law on Monday.

Did I mention I’m tired as hell? Yeah, I am.

The past two days have been tough. Wednesday was bad too since the newscast went so horribly wrong that well it didn’t replay at 10 that night. Everybody kept messing up but the bastard I hate was blaming me the entire time. Yesterday wasn’t much better… I worked from 12 to 10, sitting on my ass doing nothing. Shannon came up and visited for a while, had a meeting with my little boss, and just sat on my ass and left work after Grey’s Anatomy went off. Now today… I’m working from 4 to 10 and ended up having to use most of my money in the bank to help my mom pay the light bill which means I won’t have the money for Penni for the tickets until next Friday when I get paid and I know that’s going to piss her off and it pisses me off but I can’t help it. It would be pure bitchy of me to tell her no I won’t help her pay it (my mom) because I live there too, you know? It’s not like she has some high paying job… she’s on disability and then babysits on the side and we barely get by and my intenet (as sucky as it is) is on there, plus I had my phone bill this week.
