This week has not started off all that well. On top of my accident yesterday… I found out wires were coming out of my two front tires so I needed two new ones… so I had to do that today, which totally ruined any chance of me going and filming voice over footage for a reader for the news tomorrow.
Well, last night a guy sent me a message on facebook thinking he had met me at a bar here last weekend. Pick up line or not, we started talking and for some strange, brave reason, I told him I worked in the game room and to come on over, so he did… and we talked, but yet the freakin’ newspaper advisor kept interrupting us and well shortly after he left for a study group before class… well I thought it went okay…
Apparently not because now on facebook he’s saying that it was his twin brother that was doing that and all of this shit, so I’m like ya know… grow some balls, be a man, grow up. Fuck you, mother fucker. I don’t need that shit. Homeboy has some cheesy pick-up lines and even worse excuses….
But last night, I didn’t get home until after eleven from helping my boy (him) work on this tab for the baseball coach who is retiring after 40 years… apparently the athletic department is paying us to do it… me, him, and his friend Dustin. So I was at school for almost 13 hours yesterday…. and tonight after work, I went to help him finish his movie. And being in the lab… I love being in the lab. I feel almost popular in there. Everybody speaks to me, says hey, whether it’s dissing NASCAR or telling me not to throw any voodoo witch spells on them. Everybody knows everybody else and it’s just really nice. But he did a really good job on his movie… very good considering he doesn’t want to do movies (he’s into sports broadcasting).
And I talked to the guy who I worked with during the softball game this weekend, who got me into going to Daytona, and he said I did a very good job in directing the softball game my first time with no prior experience at directing live sports. He said there were a few times that after the girl hit the ball… I went straight to bases and didn’t show where the ball was, and I knew I had did that so I was expecting that, but he said it was very good… so I’m hoping to work football in the fall and maybe go to Jacksonville to work for ESPN for some of the football games with the Jags (see Marcus! I went to high school with #99).
That boosted my ego a little since news last week went so horribly…. the guy on the other hand, well that didn’t. I don’t know what I did wrong… he brought up NASCAR. I had on my freakin’ Track Bunnies t-shirt so hopefully that didn’t scare him away. Then again, I’m a fat slob, so eh. What can a girl do? I love two guys… very differently I might add, and only one I could have if I wanted.
I don’t know why I’m all about guys lately, whether it’s talking to them, or hooking up or what. I don’t really know what’s gotten into me because for so long, I didn’t care. I was so focused on school and having fun with my friends, but I guess last summer and fall when I had falling outs with Penni and our other old friend, I reverted back to my old self, especially getting back in touch with the asshole… like it fed the hunger that I had put away for a while.
I guess the Tiger is out of her cage. Rawr.
