So my basically free day between semesters is now over. What did I do? I sat on my ass and made animated icons. Yes. That is all I did. Well I battled between Phoebe and Piper, but that’s it. Phoebe would catch herself playing with Piper and then go hide on my bed under a blanket. She still has barely eaten or drunk anything and I’m afraid she’s going to make herself sick…
But, I also got my grades today.
I passed Media Law with a C, Biology with a B and made A’s in both Television Production 2 and News Video Workshop… so I brought my GPA up a little bit more. I’m hoping to make all good grades this year so by the time Fall is over, hopefully I’ll have a 3.0 going into my last semester.
That’s still scary.
I’ve been hanging out over @
karahleigh (Livejournal), posting my icons and began wondering why I have both… I love this, but livejournal is cool too so I’m using both. Who the hell am I to narrow myself down to one. One thing I can say is the tutorials and things over on livejournal have certainly helped my graphic ability.
Damn animation tutorials!
As for the racing aspect of my life… it’s blah. I’m kind of sad I’m not going to the Darlington race this weekend but in the long run it’s best I had changed my mind b/c I’m broker than Dustin Diamond (Screech to ya’ll who don’t know his real name). Honestly… I’m sick of racing. Oh I still love the sport but NASCAR wonders why the ratings is down? Gee, wonder why? We don’t have to watch to know who the hell is going to win! I’m not saying that as Stewart or Earnhardt fan. I’m saying it as a racing fan. It’s boring when the same organization - not to mention one that is not at the top of the list with most fans - wins all the time. Why go to the Coca Cola 600 at Lowe’s when you know who is going to win (Johnson) - Yes, Kasey won last year but that was the year of the Hard Driving Kahne (that sounds so dirty)… Johnson will win this year, along with the All Star Race. I can sit at home bored for free…
Who am I kidding… I would go if I had the money.
I’m hoping I’ll be able to go to the Pepsi 400… but I’m not counting my chicklets before they hatch.
Quack Quack.

I’m not a huge Kasey fan, but Hard Driving Kahne sounds like a driver I could love. LMAO
My internet is dead at home, so I only have access here at the office. And, the Pepsi 400 sounds good to me if you’ll let me tag along. I will totally drive the Bug!
When do you work? Hopefully, I can stop by.

And heh, I know what you mean. I am so sick of Johnson and the Shrubs… I mean Busches. So sick of them. Ugh. I was actually yelling at the tv during the last race and I’m typically not like that. I often find it hard to concentrate on what is going on for any length of time lol.

The other day, E came running to me yelling “Kasey Kahne! Kasey Kahne!” It took me a second to figure out he’d found a candy cane and wanted me to open it for him.
That boy is being raised in a NASCAR world…
