First off, again, please, go sponsor me for Blogathon 2007. We are over the $250 mark now! I’ve also been thinking of ideas to write about in those 24 hours. I’m going to post some list with commentary about the top 20 drivers, top 20 hottest drivers… you know, things real NASCAR fans care about and since I’m a girl, things girls care about. So now that that’s out of the way…
I’m tired. I went to sleep last night around midnight and I didn’t remember anything until 8:15 when the alarm on my cell went off. I went over to the studio at school to do some stuff for the City’s television channel and ended up directing the little newscast. I had no idea I was but it wasn’t live so I was okay. It made me realize I’m going to miss doing live stuff like that next semester since I’m taking Field 2 where I shoot things out of studio, like a movie. I have my idea for my movie but not sure if I’m going to be able to do it. IÂ made $20 for an hours worth of work. Also Walt, the guy who asked me if I wanted to go work in Daytona back in Feburary, said that he’s already got some work for us to do with pre-season footable down with the Jaguars in Jacksonville and also, there’s Monday Night Football in Atlanta (vs. Cleveland) in August so we might be able to do that. I’m also excited about shooting the football games (for our school) but I’m not sure I want to direct them… it’s so hard to keep your eye (with four or more cameras) on a little ball.
That’s why when you’re directing racing, there’s 43 big cars and it’s not that hard to know what is where. God, I want to direct a race. I would put on television what fans wanted to see… not just the car that has a four second lead over the second place car. That’s boring. The racing back for 10th or 20th is good racing and that should be on television. Maybe I’ll get to do that one day and be the one that turns NASCAR on television around.
Eh, a girl can hope.
