I think I experienced the worst pain of my life today. So… I’m at work, it’s around 5 o’clock and I had a slight toothache all day. It was nothing major and I’m counting the days until I go to the dentist in two weeks to start having some work done. Well, all of a sudden, something hits me… a pain, a horrific pain and it went from my wisdom teeth to my right ear to my head and I couldn’t take it. So I got Daniel to come in and work my last two hours and I left work early… skipping out on copyeditting up at the paper.

I’m not sure what happened to me. I started crying and when I would say something, I would repeat it over and over and over. I drove about 90 miles per hour home and finally made it here, ran inside and it was so hot that I stripped down to my bra and panties, took three tylenol #3’s (prescription) and sat in front of a little fan on the dining room floor, rocking back and forth, crying with ice against my mouth trying to numb the pain.

By the time my mom got home, I was lightheaded, I could barely move and she had to help me to my bed where I eventually calmed down. It was like I was weak and helpless. I don’t know if it was the three painkillers or the pain or what. It’s eased off now. I’m about to study for my math test tomorrow which is what I kept repeating in my moment of freakyness (”I’ve gotta study I’ve gotta study”).

I get my excess check this week and I want to go out of town for the weekend, just to Tallahassee or something, get a hotel room, go swimming… SOMETHING.

Anywhoo I need to go study, but I love this damn song.

That is definitely a fun song. Need to get a hold of a copy of it.

You really should get checked out immediately. Excluding the tooth that could have been a mini stroke or a heart issue. Understanding that you are under a lot of stress, that too can contribute.

The pain doesn’t sound like too much fun. But I’d blame that numbness and crying on the T3s. Bless whoever thought to make that drug more powerful, but it makes you cry for unknown reasons.
