Taras, Tony loves Chevy, and a ‘C’ won

So I was close… I said Kasey or Kyle would win on Friday… I was feeling the Kness. Kasey won the Busch race and came in 2nd in the cup race… a huge difference and his best finish of the year so far. I was close though… a C won… Carl Edwards. Technically it could still count because Carl could be spelled with a K… I know a guy named Karl with a K. I’m good, dammit. I’m very good.

On the other hand, TGOM is reporting that Junior may have a new girlfriend named Tara… not Tony’s Tara (hopefully). All Tara’s should be banned from Nascar and Karah’s also unless it’s my Tara and Me. Hell, Penni’s also for that matter. There was no sighting of Tony’s Tara from my view or Penni’s last night and when the camera was on Tony for opening ceremonies, he was alone (in a solo shot which typically means he’s alone). Ah… Tara’s… where’s Scarlett and Rhett when you need them.

And speaking of Tony… I wondered if this would have any impact with Joe Gibbs Racing going to Toyota but apparently last night on ESPN, they mentioned Tony’s TSR teams being sponsored by Chevy and him having a personal deal with them (ie: his commercials with Junior and TI). Hopefully that will hold them up in their agreement talks… I hope so.

Other than that, I’m about to go eat lunch and then go work on some homework. I have my first Math quiz on Wednesday and I need to start working on that. It’s going to be hell. Then I have my Fall 2007 Music Preview to write for the paper. Oh yes…. I added a BUNCH (well all of my…) icons/avatars on the goodies page

So we were sitting in turn 4, right in front of Elliott and Jamie’s pits. Tony was right down, and I did not see her either before the race or during. I could not see during the national athem because his car was further down pit road and I had the paper for the sign stunt in front of my face. But, I am now in the Geniss (sp?) book of world records.

By the way, can I just tell you that I love Bristol. By far the best race I have ever been to.

Dude, that “weird feeling” ability you have about the winners? Can that be passed through monitors? ‘Cause I think I got it. It was super weird, kinda like pulling Carl’s name out of my, well, ass lol.

Ahhh Taras.. Story of my life, all the guys I’ve liked either get taken by a Tara or a Tiffany. Think it’s time to change my name?

yes you did have a feeling…i so wanted him to win…but 2nd is great too…his best finishes are in COT races…so we know what next year should look like, huh? LOL

Gah…. I want to go to Bristol!

I was directly across from TS’s pit and it was all business. It was soo hot maybe she decided to stay inthe coach. Anyway, I want the “old” Bristol back… the 15 & 55 held up the leaders for over 30 laps and NASCAR did nothing to move them. Both Casey & Carl would have been justified in using the “old” methods to move them but raced then clean (undeservably)
