I just got really pissy in class a little bit ago. They started talking about how the government is going to start giving mental screenings to all school aged children (up until they turn 18) and if they have issues, give them medicine and people went off about how people who take anti-depressents are always happy go lucky, nothing is wrong with them and I held my tongue as long as I could.
I was like “I take anti-depressents and it’s changed my life because I hated the person that I was. I’m not always happy, in fact everybody who knows me knows that I’m bitchy most of the time. It’s not always a bad thing, especially for high school students, to get screened for it. Again, I was made out to be the bad guy, but I don’t care. I let my opinion out and that’s all that matters.
