Huh, interesting picture, huh? That’s Clint Bowyer’s girlfriend, Athena, like the caption says under it. I’ve decided I’m going to try to add an interesting photo to each blog I make… or at least try, that’s the magic word.

So Thanksgiving…. honestly, to me it’s just another day when I don’t have class or work and I can sit on my ass and watch football or some television. This year is no different. I’m sitting here watching the Packers and the Lions game. My mom ran down to my aunts to get some turkey and dressing. She’s cooking me some lasagna since I’m not into Thanksgiving food. Call me the female Chandler Bing. I don’t like it… so I eat other stuff.

This is usually where people talk about how they are thankful for their family and how great they are and how great their life is. I’m not going to say that because honestly, it’s not true at all. I hate my family and my life isn’t all that.

I’m thankful I’m going to have something to eat today and I’m thankful Brett Favre is having a great season.

I’m thankful that I have nice hair and I’m thankful that I have a sense of humor.

I’m thankful for the few friends that I have, online and off, who are there for me when I need them and that I can count on when I need a shoulder to lean on. I’m thankful that I’ve gotten the negative people out of my life because honestly, it’s been a lot less stressful for me.

I’m thankful that I’ve had some amazing opportunities given to me this year - working Speedweeks for Fox Sports, working the games in Jacksonville. I remember thinking back when I was in Daytona who it was odd that someone who is supposed to care about you and be there for you, didn’t even want to hear anything about me working down there. Jealousy much? I’ve worked hard to get the opportunities.

I’m thankful for all the visitors to my sites because when nobody else listened to me, they (you) always have whether you’ve made a comment or not.

And I will be VERY thankful if Tony Stewart shows up in NYC next week with a freakin’ haircut!!
