Because ESPN Classic isn’t a part of my Comcast Cable System in Podunk, Ga (that’s not my town’s name by the way), I didn’t get to watch the awards live. In fact, I didn’t watch them until this morning as I lay in bed. I fell asleep before they came on last night due to Sports Center going overtime (40 minutes overtime?), so they were recorded for me on my lovely hard drive DV thingy.

David Spade - How I loved you in Tommy Boy and Black Sheep but you freakin’ sucked last night. Sure, you’ve been to a few races and hey, you’ve driven a regular car before but why can’t NASCAR get someone entertaining who knows the sport? Hello, get Rutledge!
Kelly Clarkson - You are awesome, but the mic sucked last night and I could barely hear you.
Tony Stewart - While I complain about your hair far too much, the little video last night was hot. Just don’t slick it back to where you look like a child molester / mobster waiting to steal Ella Gordon while Ingrid isn’t looking. You’re hot just as long as you brush it. I <3 you!
Kevin Harvick - You are so lucky to have DeLana to whip your ass into shape.

I only caught a little of the initial broadcast….While I like Chandra’s dress, I thought it was little underdressed because it appeared to me to be more of a black tie affair. I saw the very end of Since U Been Gone and thought her voice was going.
Then I caught a little more while channel surfing during the rebroadcast on ESPN2. Definitely agree with you about it being due to Kelly’s mike. Also felt bad because I’ve had this feeling since the beginning of the season that her performance was going to be awkward among all of those people.
