Me? I want a hoola-hoop!

blacktop.jpgWow, today was a pretty good day and I haven’t said that in a long time. I woke up, my mom and I went out to eat and then went to the mall. I usually don’t go to sears to look for clothes but I found a top that I think is my all time favorite top (to the right - click the pictures in this thread to go to the webpage). It’s so soft and sparkly and long (if I wanted to be daring, I could wear it as a mini-dress. I also got a pink volour suit and bought my mom a suit.

pinktop.jpgThen we went to Lane Bryant and I bought a pair of jeans and I’ve gone down a size! I also got a pair of black dress pants and the top to the right, which I love also. Both tops that I bought today look great with the dress pants and would look great for an interview.

Now normally when it comes to shoes… I’m a sneaker girl. I love my Addiaas and I love my Nikes. I have a problem with my right foot because it swells a lot because I’ve broken a bone in it so many times that when I walk a lot (say at a race), it swells and normally that’s tough to wear girly dress shoes. I found two pair today though at Payless of all places that go great with my new tops and dress pants though. So shoes.jpgthen we went to Books-A-Million because my mom wanted this new book that deals with Guiding Light, it’s actually fictional about Jonathon and I bought some Tarot cards. We then went to the movies to see Alvin & The Chipmunks and oh… my… god…

The best movie ever.

I’ve always loved the Chipmunks… Theodore was always my favorite and he’s my favorite in this movie too. The movie was so cute but so funny that even someone with my dirty mind loves it and I normally don’t like children movies. It just… rocked. They were so cute and it reminded me of Piper which is sad but when Theodore wants to sleep with Dave and the way he slept with him, against his neck, that’s how Piper slept on me the first night I had her.

In other news, last night I posted my first writing article on McFanGirl.Org. It’s on characterization so ya’ll check it out and let me know what you think. I’m gonna try to spread the word about it this week so if you guys are members of any message boards where fan fiction is written, let them know about it, okay? Thanks :)

Now I’m gonna wait and watch “I Love New York 2″ and go to bed. I’m going over to the office tomorrow to print some maps out because Saturday we’re leaving… Christmas in North Carolina and when we come back…. dentist time!

I don’t know if I’ll ever see that movie, but I remember watching the TV show. Can’t forget the movie either LOL

Those are some very nice things you bought. Glad you had a good time shopping.

Soounds like a successful shopping trip. All of us need some retail therapy from time to time. You will have to let me know how Christmas is in
Charlotte. The following is a link to Creative Loafing for Charlotte. You might be able to find some things to do in it. http://charlotte.creativeloafing.com/gyrobase/index
