The past few days have been a blur, especially with the dental nightmare. I just wanted to thank everybody for the comments. I really appreciate it. I’m trying to take the next step in the process but after that horror, it’s going to take me a few weeks I think. I’m still not over it. All I do is think about it and I start crying. I know that’s sad and probably sounds a bit childish, but dental work comes in second behind the little slithery things that start with an ’s’ that I can’t say the word outloud - but you can probably guess. Oh, and to make all of that better… guess who is going to meet Dierks Bentley? *points at self*….
Thankfully I have Monday off of school so that I can prepare for a few things that I need to do. I need to write up my opinion piece for the newspaper on the WGA strike and I do have a few things to say about that being a writer and a fan of television, so it’ll be interesting. I also have to do an assignment for Media Ethics about a documentary called “Death in Gaza.” Has anybody seen it? It kind of pulled at my heartstrings a little and yes, the cold bitch that I am cried in class while watching it. You should all check it out. Besides those things, I also have to study some for an Astronomy Quiz on Wednesday.
Because of all the drama that was Thursday, I didn’t get to talk about my Bio lab which was… interesting. My lab instructor is a 22-year-old graduate student who I’m taller than. It was very interesting but he seems pretty cool, not an instructor that I’m scared to ask questions to.
In Senior Seminar yesterday morning, one of my other professors came in to talk to us about how he was involved in the media industry and because I’ve never had him for a class before except for Ethics now, I never knew that he toured with hard rock bands in the 80’s, film documentaries, and directed videos for them. He wouldn’t tell us who all (and you know I wanted to ask about Bon Jovi, Motley Crue, and Poison), but he did tell us that he worked with Pantera… which is awesome.
Now I’m sitting here, needing to do my hair and get ready for work. I’m not doing my first radio show tonight because my mouth still hurts but I guess I’ll start next Saturday since Kerry and Kevin said that I could. I’m redoing the show website and turning it into a blog for the show and posting the latest news and stuff, and maybe some contest. It’s been raining here all morning so I don’t know why I should even bother doing my hair. My mom is going over with me and staying up in the office while I’m at work in the game room and then we’re heading to Walmart and Best Buy because I want to get a flat screen monitor for my desktop. My screen has been blinking and I’m sure it’s going to go out any day now… that’s how an old one of my did.
And speaking of Best Buy, yesterday when I got off work, I went by to look at the monitors and as I walked in… every television screen in the store had one fine looking man on it…. Mr. Elliott Sadler.
Yep, this is going to be a good sponsorship deal.

I remember when I still used my old desktop and I switched to a flat panel monitor. I couldn’t believe the space saved. LOL Now it just sits in my room collecting dust while I use my laptop.

Yeah, see I go through sprouts where I don’t use my desktop but since I moved my room around, I’m using it more… I just hate the big ass monitor and it’s about to die. I mostly use my desktop for doing the website stuff though lol it’s like the “work” computer lol
