This totally blew my mind…. wow.

NEW YORK - Roger Clemens had a decade-long relationship with country star Mindy McCready that began when she was a 15-year-old aspiring singer and the pitcher was a Boston Red Sox ace, the Daily News reported.

Clemens’ lawyer, Rusty Hardin, confirmed a long-term relationship but told the newspaper it was not sexual.

“He flatly denies having had any kind of an inappropriate relationship with her,” Hardin said. “He’s considered her a close family friend. … He has never had a sexual relationship with her.”

There is nothing better than listing to some good country radio but do you know what’s better than regular radio? HD Digital radio! There are new HD radio stations with quality clear sound, almost as good as listening to a CD. There’s even this really cool thing called iTunes tagging where you can hear a song on the radio and if you like it, it will tag the song onto your iTunes playlist and you’ll be able to download it from iTunes whenever you get the chance.

Isn’t that pretty cool?

Something else that is cool is some new stations near me. Being that I live only about five miles from the Florida line, there are some good Florida High Definition Radio stations. There are stations in Jacksonville and in Daytona, which is just a good hop and a skip away from here and we all know we love listening to some good music. You can hear that good music on those new country music stations. So check out HD radio today… I know I will.

Do you know what I love about summer? Because football practice is beginning and the next football season is just around the corner. Sure, NASCAR is going on, but it’s the NFL. Of course, this year is going to be different without Brett Farve, so I need ideas for my free nfl picks. Any ideas?

“It’s my favorite show! I love it!” says 15-year-old Miley Cyrus, speaking of Sex and the City over spinach-artichoke dip in a dingy Toluca Lake restaurant that for some reason, possibly native to the San Fernando Valley, is divided between cheerful families enjoying Saturday lunches and a glum row of barflies passing time by watching I-don’t-know-what on ESPN Classic. The restaurant was Cyrus’s choice. She loves the dip and the turkey-melt sandwich. She’s here with her mother, Tish, her eight-year-old sister, Noah, and somewhere between a dozen and two dozen paparazzi, who followed the Cyruses from their nearby home and are now waiting for Miley in the restaurant’s parking lot. Noah, curiously, looks like Dakota Fanning.

But back to Sex and the City. Miley says her Disney Channel sitcom, Hannah Montana, in which she plays a schoolgirl with a secret life as a rock star, is patterned in part after the former HBO series about women looking for love and hookups in Manhattan. “Obviously not the scenarios,” she explains quickly. “But if you watch Sex and the City, like the way the friends are, the way that it’s dry and they all have distinct characters—that’s a thing we try to do on our show.” (more…)

Another day, another candid-camera controversy for Miley Cyrus.

The Hannah Montana star has issued a statement exclusively to E! News about her provocative pictures in Vanity Fair. In the new issue, the 15-year-old Disney sensation appears to be topless. News of the spread was first teased by Entertainment Tonight.

“I took part in a photo shoot that was supposed to be ‘artistic’ and now, seeing the photographs and reading the story, I feel so embarrassed,” she says. “I never intended for any of this to happen and I apologize to my fans who I care so deeply about.’”

The Disney Channel is also defending its beloved starlet, telling E! News “a situation was created to deliberately manipulate a 15-year-old in order to sell magazines.” (more…)
