R.I.P. Bernie Mac - You will be missed

Bernie Mac, the comedian who starred in such hit films as Oceans 11, Oceans 12, Oceans 13, and Guess Who, has died at the age of 50 from complications from pneumonia in a Chicago hospital.

The actor suffered from sarcoidosis, a lung disease, but said that the disease went into remission in 2005.

His film career started with a small role as a club doorman in the Damon Wayans comedy “Mo’ Money” in 1992.

Mac gained a prestigious Peabody Award for his sitcom “The Bernie Mac Show.” The show garnered Golden Globe and Emmy nominations for Mac.

He also starred in movies such as “Bad Santa,” “Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle,” and “Transformers.”

He will be missed.

I woke up to this news on the radio this morning. What a surprise… So sad…

Its a very sad day for all of us. RIP Bunny

This is a big loss in the commedy world. I loved his jokes. May the Almighty rest his soul in eternal peace. I know the Angels must be laughing their head off in heaven, he must be entertaining them right now. On the positive note, Barnie Mac is a life well lived and needs to celebrated. He brough alot of joy in our hearts when we were down through laughter. I have also learned alot about rising my two kids as a single parent through his TV sequal Barnie Mac Show which is still showing in one of our local stations. Thanks Barnie Mac Rest In Peace.
