Bernie Mac, the comedian who starred in such hit films as Oceans 11, Oceans 12, Oceans 13, and Guess Who, has died at the age of 50 from complications from pneumonia in a Chicago hospital.
The actor suffered from sarcoidosis, a lung disease, but said that the disease went into remission in 2005.
His film career started with a small role as a club doorman in the Damon Wayans comedy “Mo’ Money” in 1992.
Mac gained a prestigious Peabody Award for his sitcom “The Bernie Mac Show.” The show garnered Golden Globe and Emmy nominations for Mac.
He also starred in movies such as “Bad Santa,” “Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle,” and “Transformers.”
He will be missed.

E! Online has confirmed that “Samantha Who” and “Married with Children” star, Christina Applegate, has been diagnosed with cancer.
It’s been a pretty terrible year for Applegate. Her boyfriend committed suicide a few months ago.
Bernie Mac was hospitalized in Chicago for phuemonia. Rumors are circulating that he’s died but his representatives say that’s not true.
He should be released from the hospital soon.

Ashlee Simpson-Wentz even introduced her with full pregnancy belly in tow and sans make-up.
