So… God doesn’t like me today.. at all. So I check out equipment for class, go to class, start to go outside and it’s POURING RAIN. Thus in the meantime, while being around a big group of boys, I feel like I’ve uhh.. messed up my pants with the visitor. So I finally I make a run with a heavy ass backpack, a tripod and an expensive camera to my truck in the meantime getting drenched. I go to the UC to the bathroom, go try to find a parking place around Nevins so I can go to class at 12 and there isn’t one. Finally shortly after 12, I give up, and come down to where my mom babysits so that I can film the little boys but THAT isn’t going to go over well because again… IT’S RAINING AND THIS IS A FISHING MOVIE!

Eh, my Elvis presentation sucked. Okay so the powerpoint ROCKED but me talking in front of people… sucked. I’m horrible at it. On the radio or television, I’m fine because I don’t see all the people who are hearing or watching it, but when everybody in the room has their eyes on me… yeah, not so good.
I’m at the office now. I went by Checkers and got something to eat and did ya’ll know they are the Official Drive-Thru of Nascar? I got the #1 and got a plastic Jeff Burton Coke cup! I looong for a Tony one! An Elliott! Yummm…. (more…)

I hope everybody knows that I’m not ignoring ya’ll at all, it’s just been hectic for me the past few days. I have a presentation to do on Monday so I’ve been busy getting that done, and then there’s a Bio test on Wednesday night along with an article and a editorial for the paper. Then I think Thursday I’m doing my first show - I think. I’m not sure yet but today was the last day of training. (more…)

Did anybody see the Top 12 drivers on Letterman tonight? I have a few comments.
1. Tony looked like a member of the Sorprano’s. Hello mobster?
2. Truex looked so cute. I feel like a proud parent since I’ve watched him go through the NASCAR ranks. Funny thing is… he’s like two weeks older than me. Weird to feel like a parent when ya say that.
3. Matthew Kenseth always has that mischevious look on his face when he’s on television. Bashful much?
4. Can the writer’s in whatever city head offices write better one liners? Seriously… I stood with my three friends as they were sending tomorrow’s paper to the printers and I’m just shaking my head. This did not help in my quest to convert them to NASCAR fans.
Sigh, on that note… today was a BAD and GOOD day. I’ll post a private topic tomorrow with the GOOD stuff, but… I locked my keys in my truck with the windows down a little so I had a freak out session because I forgot to take my medication this morning. Luckily a nice guy helped me when the freakin’ school police department wouldn’t.

But… found out today that Bruce Bruce is coming here for our Homecoming Comedy Show! I’m going to try to get an interview with him before hand and hopefully meet him that night. I loooove Bruce Bruce! If you don’t know who he is, he’s on BET’s comedy shows a lot. Look him up. You’ll love him.
