So, I haven’t really posted my thoughts on the whole Heath Ledger thing. Why? Well for several reasons… I didn’t have time, the energy, and emotionally, I wasn’t ready. I will admit that I have never been his greatest fan, but I love 75% of all his movies. I was ecstatic just a few weeks ago when classes started and that picture above was on the cover of one of my textbooks, for Digital Media Production. It made me watch “Brokeback Mountain” again. Then I bought “10 Things I Hate About You” because the movie is good, and I was started to become enthusied with him playing the Joker in Batman and then bam…

This has just caused me to look at so many things differently. I put a little memorial piece in the newspaper this week. Some laughed at me, but that’s my emphasis… entertainment and features… it’s my area.
Other than the tragic news, my week has just been odd. (more…)
