Just keep gettin’ better!

This week has been one of the most hectic, yet highly interesting weeks of this year so far.

It started out with me going to work and class on Monday and then leave to interview the President of our university. He’s new, having taken over the position barely two months ago. He came from a school in South Dakota so being in southern Georgia is a drastic change for him, especially the accents he joked. He’s really nice and the interview went over well.  The highlight of the trip to the President’s office was finding out that all the ladies in the office are NASCAR fans - a Hendricks fan, Carl Edwards, and I forgot who the others liked. They also liked Tony Stewart and we discussed his race on Sunday and his antics. (more…)

Free and easy down the road I go…

The past few days have been kind of hectic. I started getting sick at he beginning of the week and now I’ve been diagnosed with full blown strep-throat but I’m still kicking, going to classes and working. The paper was Wednesday night and we got finished early but I stayed and helped Taylor work on his resume and cd with some of his work to send over to the newspaper in Bainbridge because they’re looking for someone at he paper. I’m alive… I promise.

Since up and heading to Daytona this past weekend, my life has been hectic. Here are just a few things to update everybody on. A longer post will come your way tomorrow, I promise.

1. In the midst of an exam, an editorial and a column due in the paper, my laptop decides to go bam, die.
2. I had an exam.
3. I had to write two articles.
4. I have other classes too… one in which a video project is due tomorrow.
5. I had work in the game room.
6. Catching up on my sleep from the lack there of in Daytona

I’ll write up my trip post soon. I got 9th row tix for Reba McEntire this morning and the Dierks concert is this weekend.

And I need to head to bed. I’ve got to wake up and get ready for my 8am class in oh… 5 hours.

Still haven’t found what I’m looking for…

It’s 9pm and do you know where I’m at? I’m sitting here watching an episode of “Grey’s Anatomy” from last season (the one where George realizes he slept with Izzie). We had our end of the semester / Christmas party today for the paper and it was nice. I’ve got a final tomorrow in my Media Crit class and then a final on Thursday in Social Problems. Then my report on the news is due for Crit Thursday and I’m completely done for this semester. The Thursday thing is going to be a bitch though, and that sucks because I’m going out Wednesday night with the main paper staff to Loco’s to eat and whatever.  Other than that, that’s my week planned out in a nutshell.

And thanks for those that commented on “Priscilla’s” advice post down below and those that didn’t, you still can.  I think Priscilla will take into advisement on what the lovely Mr. Rich commented about. I think Miss Priscilla might make a slight move, or at least that’s what she says she’s thinking :-p

So, hypothetically…

Hypothetical question for those with more guy experience than me, for a “friend”:

So say this friend, Priscilla, is going to be hanging out with this guy that she likes. We’ll call him Elvis. Priscilla and Elvis are friends, not the best of friends, but I wouldn’t call them just acquaintances. Now Priscilla doesn’t think she is Elvis’ type but she really, really likes him. She sort of has ‘feelings’ for him, although she’s not sure what those feelings are. She just knows she hasn’t had feelings like that for someone since she fell for someone years ago. Now the question that Priscilla has is how do you guys think that she should go about letting Elvis knows that she likes him and is interested in him? She’s afraid if she just tells him or asks him out that he’ll reject her and possibly ruin the little friendship that they have.

So what do you guys think Priscilla should do?
