Anything but mine…

while you're peeing, you might as well read this I haven’t written in here lately and I know why. Last week I was really busy with working at school in the Student Life office during school break and catching up on some other stuff. I also got back into Backstreet mode, opened up an old site (my first real site), and started writing on my first story in a while.

I’ve also been busy researching and writing on the Vagina Monologue piece for the paper this week which opened a whole other can of worms. My professor, who’s over the VM, gave me some information for the article and some stats about rape at school which are not from the campus PD. (more…)

Video conferencing is awesome!

One thing that I think is cool about the internet is being able to talk to other people via the internet. Sure, chatting is cool but do you know what’s better? Video conferencing! With a video conferencing bridge you can talk to others in high definition over broadband which is almost as good as face to face communication!

I’m here with my confession…

Backstreet Boys Concert In Hong Kong For those that don’t know, I basically got my online start by writing Backstreet Boys fan fiction. Well I stopped a few years ago and closed all that stuff down, except for a archive site where I hosted mine and lots of other fans hosted theirs there as well.

Well today, a piece of my history is back - My Confession is back online! I’ve redone McFanGirl.Org so that you can take your pick of NASCAR, My Confession, or Backstreet Fiction. If any of you want to read something on My Confession, read “The Trouble With Love.” I’m pretty proud of that story and it’s the last real Backstreet story that I wrote.

I work tomorrow from 11 to 5:30 p.m. in the Student Life office tomorrow. Whoo hoo!

To whom it may concern:

I am a private figure. I openly have a blog where I discuss my life, my college career, my future, music, NASCAR, other types of racing, movies, and other types of random topics. There is a difference in posting and writing information on public figures and private citizens.

Public figures are those who put themselves into the spotlight whether it’s becoming a singer, becoming a race car driver, or dating a driver. They are in the spotlight and therefore they are fair game. When one starts commenting about private citizens who are not in the lime light, racing cars, singing, dating a celebrity, we are not fair game. That is when issues of slander, libel, and harassment come into play.

When I’m not writing about school, work, or the such on here, I’m writing and posting about newsworthy topics, whether they are popular topics such as who won the pole for the Budweiser Shootout or if it’s a taboo subject of scandalous pictures of a NASCAR girlfriend.

For the record, IP’s are tracked on this site and are only used when blocking spammers and people who are so hostile that they think they must resort to bashing me because I express an opinion that is different than others.

Now, I must go to sleep because unlike a lot of people, I have a life and an 8am class in the morning where I must finish editing a documentary.

Happy Late Birthday!

I totally forgot but Feb. 3rd was DOATB’s first birthday! I’ve kept this blog up for a whole year and I’m so proud of myself!

Happy Birthday!
