Why Charlotte?
Monday, December 3rd, 2007 277 viewsI’ve been wondering a lot lately, seeing some some NASCAR fans blogs, myspaces, etc why so many of the female NASCAR fans want to move to the Charlotte / Lake Norman area? I know for myself, I want to work in the NASCAR media industry but as I’ve learned, I don’t need to live in Charlotte to do so. So I wonder, why, especially for the ones who aren’t into mechanics or working on cars, don’t want to work on the media side or things or involved in Journalism. Hell, even some of the top NASCAR journalists don’t live there. I know some, like a few of my friends, love the area up there which I do too, trust me, it’s the perfect mix of a big city and a smaller town vibe and coming from South Georgia - anything is better than here.
